Aisha Jamila Hinds, an American actress best recognized for her appearances in the television shows The Shield and True Blood. In the years since her debut, she's shown her range of talents by appearing on series such as Under the Dome, 9-1-1 Detroit and 1-8-7. The role she played in Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the very first role to catch her attention. Her first recognition came from her performance in the biographical 2005 movie All the Way. Hind was also acknowledged for her performance in the role she played in the role of Harriet Tubman within WGN America's historical drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 9-1-1 is renewed for the third installment from 20th Century Fox Television. Hind was recently finished filming the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The film is scheduled to release mid-2019. Her father Krishnaraj is an Army scientist, who died in March of 2017. Her mother Vrinda was a housewife. Aditya is her older brother who is also an engineer in the merchant navy. The younger brother of Bachchan Aditya Rai co-produced Dil Ka Rishta and wrote the song together with Bachchan. Arya Vidya Mandir School was her school of choice located in Mumbai after moving to the city with her family. Her intermediate studies were completed at Jai Hind College for a year prior to enrolling in D.G. Ruparel College Matunga was where she scored 90% in her H.S.C. exams. Through her stunning portrayal of the jilted lover Paro of Devdas (2002) among the top viewed Bollywood films and one of the first films to be screened during the Cannes Film Festival Bachchan cemented herself as the new Queen of Bollywood. Chokher (2002) is a dramatic version of the novel by Rabindranath Tagore (2003) was praised by the critics. In the same year she became the first Indian actress to be a member of the Cannes Film Festival jury. Bachchan made an appearance in Gurinder Chadha's Bride and Prejudice which is the musical version and dance adaptation to Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Bachchan was able to bring both her glam power and beauty to her most acclaimed English film. In the months before releasing Provoked: A True Story 2006 in English the actress returned to Bollywood to star on Dhoom: 2 (2006 smash success). In April 2007 she married Abhishek Bachchan, a regular co-star and the child of Bollywood great Amitabh Bachchan in a marriage that reunited two of India's greatest people.
