Aisha Jamila Hinds, an American actress best recognized for her appearances in the television shows The Shield and True Blood. In the years since her debut, she's shown her range of talents by appearing on series such as Under the Dome, 9-1-1 Detroit and 1-8-7. The role she played in Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the very first role to catch her attention. Her first recognition came from her performance in the biographical 2005 movie All the Way. Hind was also acknowledged for her performance in the role she played in the role of Harriet Tubman within WGN America's historical drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 9-1-1 is renewed for the third installment from 20th Century Fox Television.
